Did you know... The College of Education, with help from its supporters, has been able to:

  • develop innovative, award-winning programs
  • recruit students from minority and other underrepresented groups to complete degrees in education and become certified teachers
  • establish endowed chair and professorship positions, which are the hallmark of major universities and provide stability to a college
  • provide students more than 130 scholarships annually, averaging $2,300 each
  • Increase the research opportunities for the faculty to enhance knowledge in areas such as reading, science education and child development
