Education Specialist Certificate with
Emphasis in Interactive Technologies

Minimum Number of Hours: 36

This emphasis is designed for:

  • Those who already have a Master’s degree, typically in an area other than Instructional Technology, and are interested in working with the design and development of advanced technologies or as an e-learning specialist. Students already holding an IT Master’s degree will have specially designed programs that provide further development of this specialty area. It is possible for a student to apply Educational Specialist work to a doctoral program.

Specializations:

  • Students may choose to enhance their competencies and job opportunities by constructing plans of work with a double emphasis that combines Interactive Technologies with either K-12 Technology Integration or Performance Improvement.

Plan of Work

A Plan of Work documents your strategy to complete the degree requirements. It is usually created during IT 7100; it must be submitted prior to completing 12 credit hours. Ed. Spec. Plan of Work form (Word 6.0 format)
