Performance Improvement & Training

This emphasis is designed for:

  • Those interested in working as instructional designers or performance technologists in business, industrial, health care, higher education, military and government settings.

Background:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree in an area such as Business Administration, Nursing, Psychology, Education, or Speech are common.
  • Students may also have experience in training design, but now wish to learn more about non-training interventions to solve performance problems.

Specializations:

  • Students may choose to enhance their competencies and job opportunities by constructing plans of work with a double emphasis that combines Performance Improvement with Interactive Technologies.

Plan of Work

A Plan of Work documents your strategy to complete the degree requirements. It is usually created during IT 7100; it must be submitted prior to completing 12 credit hours. Plan of Work form (Word 6.0 format)
