Administration & Supervision Program
PROGRAM ALTERNATIVES: PLAN A: for applicants with Educational Administration M. Ed degree; PLAN B: for applicants with a Master’s degree in a non- EDA field; PLAN C: for applicants pursuing special Education administrator approval.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: These Ed.S. Certificate programs serve personnel aspiring to administrative positions in education, and practicing administrators wishing to enhance their skills. An approval and certificate program is also available.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE: Students who have never been formally admitted to the Wayne State University Graduate School should file initial applications with the Graduate Admissions office, located within the Welcome Center (corner of Warren & Woodward), Suite 436. Students applying for the Education Specialist Certificate must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.4 or above. Official transcripts of all college level work, both undergraduate and graduate, are to be mailed directly to the Graduate Admissions office by the institution where the work was completed.
Graduate students in good standing with the Wayne State University Graduate School should file applications in Room 489 (313-577-1605) of the College of Education. Following submission of application, official transcripts of all college level work, both undergraduate and graduate, are to be mailed directly to the College of Education, Room 489, by the institution where the work was completed.
ADVISORS: Request for a specific advisor may be made in writing to the EDA Coordinator upon admission. The request will be honored if possible. A listing or advisors can be found here.
