Who we are. Our vision. Our mission.
Our Mission
The mission of the Whole Schooling Consortium is to work to create schools that are based on the Six Principles of Whole Schooling. This is a complex and multi-faceted process. We seek to provide information, dialogue, research, support for teachers, parents, administrators, researchers, and policymakers through the following mechanisms:
1. Research
2. Policy advocacy
3. Dissemination of information via our website, Journal of Whole Schooling,
international video project, listserv, and publications available via the
Whole Schooling Press
4. Developing an international network of schools and individuals who can
communicate and support one another’s work
5. Organizing local Whole Schooling Consortia of educators, university
faculty, and parents
6. Professional development through a network of
knowledgeable associates, conferences, and seminars
