Path I: This plan is offered to teachers who want to emphasize technology applications in classroom teaching. The path offers courses from both the Teacher Education area as well as the Instructional Technology program. Emphasis is on building awareness of technology tools, selecting the best technology tools and integrating them into the classroom.
This path is best for thoses seeking degrees in a Teacher Education (TED) area (link to Plan of Work for Endorsement Path I)
Path II: This path is offered to teachers or other school personnel interested in assuming positions of technology leadership (formal or informal) in their schools or school districts. This path still stresses technology integration, but all the coursework is through the Instructional Technology department. The 18 credits completed in the Educational Technology Endorsement can also be used to toward other graduate degrees in Instructional Technology (18 of the degree's 36 are done through the Endorsement coursework).
